The cd is available on the German version of Amazon: http://www.amazon.de/Many-Worlds-Are-Born-Tonight/dp/B000009NTX It's a bit expensive, but it's about the only place I could find where it's available. I need banners! (and ProGGnosis) ProGGnosis (http://www.proggnosis.com) has put up a banner ad for Find Me (that they made) and I'd like to replace it with something else. I can come up with a few but I'm not a Graphic artist so perhaps someone else could come up with something too. I can't promise it'll be used but if I like it I'll submit it. I also want to put some banners up on the MySpace Find Me page if anyone else wanted to use one, so it'd be nice to have a few to choose from. You might not see the Find Me banner ad when you first go to ProGGnosis. It rotates with others so you might have to click around before it comes up. Btw, that banner ad was donated by a fan (***THANK YOU MARC!!***) since Happy has no promotional budget. The banner on the ProGGnosis site links to the Find Me CD Baby page. ProGGnosis will be reviewing Find Me sometime in the next week. I'll post when it appears. Judging from the printing on the disc, the European MWABT CD was manufactured in the Netherlands. It was distributed in Germany by In-akustik. I think they stopped when Samson dropped Happy, around that time the album disappeared from their website. As Marcel and Henning already mentioned, it seems to be available from the german Amazon subsidiary. Interestingly, they also list a French import. Is this another different version? Heads up. This from the Delicious Agony announcement page: ========= Delicious Agony is proud to present a special edition of Shadow & Light featuring Happy Rhodes Tuesday, October 30th at 5PM Eastern Time. The special will include an interview with Happy and music from her brand new album Find Me, as well as selections from throughout her career. Please join us for this special event! ========= http://www.deliciousagony.com/ The show will be 2 hours long and will be the first audio interview Happy's done in 9 years! It's streamable via the web but will be available after the fact in case you miss it. I'll post again as it gets nearer. Great...I can't wait!! Big thanks to Joe Mallon (and wonderful Sue, who I assume turned Joe on to Happy's music!) My mom asked for it for her birthday after reading an article about her in Parade (of all places) and I took a listen and it's amazing! She reminds me of Joanna Newsom in some ways (and funnily enough she released a single where she was backed by her Y's Street Band). I find her album to be so delicate, poetic and heartbreaking. I'd reccommend starting with Wizard Flurry Home and Flowers and Blood. ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V13 #289 ***************************
