I had to not only add the new songs, but change every- thing over from the Find Me Sampler to the Find Me album, and update the alphabetical list of lyrics. If there's a bum link, it'll be something going to the Find Me Sampler instead of Find Me. Thanks Sue! I used your scan of the cover. Mike, yours might have been correct by the numbers but it was bit *too* green. Also, something I forgot to mention when I posted yesterday about having received my copy of _Find Me_: Of course I've listened to it and of course it's wonderful. The new songs like "Little Brother" and "Treehouse" are stunning, and some of the little mixing problems I noticed on the 2005 _Find Me_ sampler (like the really low bass line in "Fall" that seems to have caused clipping) have been totally fixed. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 1 Oct 2007 15:46:16 -0400 From: kevin bartlett Subject: The 29 shirts off my back Hello Ectoids This has come my way through some interesting channels. i.e Vickie, Happy and my buddy Mark Biannchino. Hand-drawn cover art, as opposed to studio glamour shots, to me, always signals that what's inside is artful instead of commercial. It's what most "quality" musicians do nowadays. Happy's got some much more embarrassing cover art behind her, in my opinion. Namely Equipoise. ...or even MWABT, which is very professional looking, but also screams new agey and is a turnoff to certain groups of potential fans. I definitely prefer dis-ease to disease, mostly b/c I don't like thinking of complexity and multiplicity as a disease. But in this society/culture, etc, they definitely cause a lack of ease. But I didn't want to change the quote in my article, b/c it would've fucked up my pithy little sentence about the disease being American popular culture's, not Happy's. tim On 9/30/07 6:04 AM, "Xenu's Sister" wrote: > --- Joseph Zitt wrote: > >> But it's good to have the lyrics.
