I'm astonished to report that I received the Find Me CD in the mail today, thanks Vickie! That means it took less than four days to get to me (Australia) via standard postage - that's hard to beat with even the fastest most expensive service, I expect. I guess I got lucky. I've, of course, listened to it and it's a beautiful CD. I'm looking forward to becoming more familiar with it over the coming days ... (I've not heard any of the tracks before today) Chris. ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 25 Sep 2007 12:32:26 -0400 From: "Country Mouse" Subject: Re: 2nd wave of Find me orders arrived I got my "Find Me" CD yesterday and put it on while I was knitting. I LOVE it!! I have the demo/sampler and have listened to that; but this is so much more cohesive. There is not a clunker/throw-away on the whole album. I have to keep myself from playing it too frequently or I might get tired of it! LOL! Thanks, Vickie! At the risk of crashing his server (so be considerate!), it's at: http://hft.fh-pforzheim.de/ecto/ Henning is officially 'the man' when it comes to photography, I'm sure everyone will agree the shots he took were awesome! Well apart from the ones of my bald patch. And yeah, sent First Class International at that! > I've, of course, listened to it and it's a beautiful CD. I'm looking forward > to becoming more familiar with it over the coming days ... (I've not heard > any of the tracks before today) I'm glad you like it! Thanks also Jason, Ken and Fleur, for letting me know you've received your CDs. Of those mailed so far, that's 15 ectos received, 14 to go (including 2 from the 1st wave *very worried about Art and Kevin's CDs*). I should, *fingers crossed* receive the next batch of CDs from Happy today or tomorrow. I already have 35 Paid and set to go, with 10 more that I'll hold for check'ers. If Happy sends another box of 50 then that means I only have 5 left, unless she stuffs some extras into the box. I can receive packages from Australia here (Canada) in about 4 days. Sometimes five. There's a record shop in Lansing, Michigan i occasionally order from, Lansing is about 200 miles from me, and their shipments generally take at least a couple of weeks. Guess i'm not a PIP (particularly important person) -- not in Lansing, anyway!
