One of those has been paid for and will go out tomorrow. Four more are accounted for, with people either sending checks/money orders snail mail, or other situations I know about. A full five are up in the air. I've written (more than once) and have not received an answer. It's very odd. I'm not sure why people would write me in such a panic begging for a signed CD, but then blow it off after I tell them I have one for them. It's a bit miffing, especially since I have a long waiting list of people who really REALLY wanted a signed CD but didn't see my notice in time. But, I'll give them benefit of the doubt, maybe all 5 are on vacation. Or something. If I don't hear from them soon I'm going to be posting to ecto again, saying "Does anyone named '_____' want a Find Me CD?" As soon as Happy tells me the shipment of CDs are on the UPS truck I will post to ecto for the 2nd wave. I thought they'd be on their way by now so I keep bugging Happy. Maybe she's waiting for a shipment of Dangerous Music components, then sending the CDs by return. They do live in the absolute boondocks in a place where I doubt UPS trucks are common. It's quiet enough now so that if anyone wants to write and give me their address (if you haven't yet), I can put you on the waiting list and make up mailing labels in advance. Or wait for my official announcement. Either way is fine. There's no danger of these selling out. I know exactly how many CDs Happy got from the pressing plant, so there's going to be enough for everybody, unlike the Samplers. I'm off now to see Across The Universe and Eastern Promises. I just remembered that I have a Press Kit for Happy's Many Worlds Are Born Tonight, from Samson Music. Should I scan it all in and put it up? Or maybe we could get together. It's *VERY* nice. No way could we afford to do something like it, but it could be a guideline, and Happy-related too. I've been looking forward to this for a long time. Jule Taymor can do no wrong in my book. She hasn't yet anyway. This could be my new favorite 'musical'since Moulin Rouge! (since that movie, I am Baz's bitch, 100%) I missed the showing I was going to attend so now I'm aiming for the 4:50 ATU and the 7:20 Eastern Promises. I might see something after that too. Maybe Shoot 'Em Up or Ladrsn Que Roba a Ladrsn (which I've already seen, but I want to see again).
