Oh and speaking of SINEAD O'CONNOR, I hear >she has a new one coming out as well. Mostly spiritual songs she has >written. That sounds interesting, I'll have to check it out. I was surprised that this album has gotten so little attention here. If you liked the Cranberries first two albums, you should check out Dolores O'Riordan's solo debut. She doesn't really chart new territory (which isn't to say that the album sounds dated), but this is solid pop/rock. Her voice is also a bit less affected than on the Cranberries albums, which may or may not be a plus. For me, I like it both ways. There is a do-it-yourself alternative you can order directly from here: http://www.diycustomplugs.co.uk/diy_ear_plugs.shtml What you get is two little jars of putty which you mix and shove into your own ear. Once it sets, you've got a pair of custom-made earplugs without the expense and the bother of organising the fitting. Ordering over the net is reliable and delivery was super-fast. They work quite well for me, though I use them for a different purpose since I don't go to live shows any more... but I ride a motorcycle, which is also seriously hazardous to your hearing (no, the problem with riding is not the anti-social exhaust... the culprit is the wind noise in the helmet, believe it or not). Anyway, they seem to do the job. Of course, my hearing is already somewhat damaged from my younger days... ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 10 Jun 2007 01:18:09 EDT From: SpiritWe@aol.com Subject: **RACHAEL SAGE @ ALBANY PRIDE, TODAY!!
