Marketing Manager at Moog Music > (www.moogmusic.com). as one bird of that feather to another, congrats Chris. are you living/working in Asheville? i have a niece and her family that used to live there, moved to Florida, didn't like it and now moving back. i would like to visit Asheville NC some day. it's reputed to be an artsie town sorta like Burlington VT, where i live two days of the week now. i've met Bob a few times at AES conventions. he recognized my face but i don't think he remembered who i was and what i did. Also Bob Moog used to be a figurehead VP or CTO at Kurzweil, but long before i was there. maybe i might bump into you at an AES. again, congrats. - -- r b-j rbj@audioimagination.com "Imagination is more important than knowledge." ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 May 2007 13:15:19 -0400 From: meredith Subject: Re: my new job at Moog Hi, Yes, congrats, Chris!! Asheville is a really great town. Very artsy and aware, and yet still managing to remain down-to-earth. And you can't beat the scenery. It's well worth a visit if you can ever get down there... and if you have time to take the Blue Ridge Highway, so much the better. > i've met Bob a few times at AES conventions. he recognized my face but i don't think he remembered who i was and what i did. Also Bob Moog used to be a figurehead VP or CTO at Kurzweil, but long before i was there. I had the privilege of meeting Robert Moog once, at a Veda Hille concert at The Mercury Lounge in NYC. He was very nice, and I must say, had impeccable taste in music. ;) - -- =============================================== Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth =============================================== hear at the HOMe House Concert Series http://hom.smoe.org =============================================== ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 21 May 2007 10:58:04 -0800 From: cy Subject: thanks and 3 more gigs for Nor Cal Ectos thank you Ectos for coming out for support for Cyoakha Grace and Druid Sisters Tea Party and also Eda and the Imagination Club! I sampled most, and this is where Murphy's Law came in: they have some sort of jazz album stored under Brian Eno's Before and After Science and I got 3 jazz cuts. It is not bad jazz, so it is not a total waste, but, there doesn't seem to be any "Contact Us" tab available. How does one tell them that they need to fix something? bye, me KrW I'm Peter Pan! I'm perpetually young!! OW!! What's wrong with my back? ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V13 #132 ***************************
