Not a big fan of the seasonal music usually, I profess, but I'm home for the holidays (or for three days, about my limit!) and I stupidly forgot to bring the two CDs I sat on my bed to bring: Loreena's "To Drive The Winter Cold Away" and "A Winter Garden" so I could avoid the Christmas crap my parents play. Brought my Sarah and Aimee, but forgot Loreena. MORONIC! I don't 'spose anyone out there in Ecto or Fumber-land would be willing to upload them somewhere? I know I could buy them on i-tunes or something, but I kind of don't want to because I already own the CDs, I just ... yeah ... forgot to bring them home with me. Please? Lucinda. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Dec 2006 20:55:15 -0600 From: "Paul Blair" Subject: Some not particularly seasonal mashups Rapture Riders: Jim Morrison meets Debbie Harry http://youtube.com/watch?v=ih5q6-By0IE Beer Wars: "May the Force be with you, eh?" http://youtube.com/watch?v=zgxPIkjG3J0 http://youtube.com/watch?v=PVcA6Oaxkdc ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 23 Dec 2006 21:20:15 -0600 From: "Paul Blair" Subject: Upcoming ectophilic music at Joe's Pub, NYC These are all at Joe's Pub: Dar Williams, Sonya Kitchell, the Ditty Bops, and Francesca Ancarola Benefit for Shakespeare in the Park, Jan 20: http://www.joespub.com/caltool/index.cfm?fuseaction=detail&performanceID=2584 (Cowboy Junkies show later that evening is sold out.)
