That's something I never thought of!! > I for one would really appreciate it if you > would do this and I promise to introduce > Happy's music to some of my students in Korea. You bet! That's a wonderful reason to continue! Here are 3 more that are done and up there: Temporary and Eternal http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-8695371858529069206&hl=en And Dream of Sheep (Toledo) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-736390376151794538&hl=en And Dream of Sheep (Kenosha) http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6476537087143524994&hl=en It's a Google bug that the subtitles disappear before they're supposed to. The timing is fine when I play them in DivXLand Media Subtitler. It drives me crazy but there's nothing I can do about it. I uploaded the Collective Heart subtitles but they haven't shown up yet. It can take up to 24 hours, or longer, if Collective Heart is any indication. I have a few more ready to upload and I'll update when they appear. > I was waiting til my cd order came in > but this makes everything so much easier. > Then the kids who like her music can > search for more of it. Ha, I have the attention span of a gnat and it's my bane that I can easily lose interest in a project (generally if I hit a roadblock for some reason, it's easier to go on to something else. I suck like that). I wasn't going to go much further with this particular project idea because there didn't seem to be any interest, but you've just given me a FANTASTIC reason to continue. ESL/EFL students!! How many of THOSE are there in the world!? A LOT! WOW! > Thanks Thank YOU! (my exclamation point quota is probably used up for the month, but it's worth it!) It's a bit more involved than grabbing the lyrics from ecto.org and slapping them in the program. I have to add any talking (any volunteers to transcribe some talking bits, such as the "Are you a transsexual?" or "Calvin Klein ad/I did a wedding" or "Any tapers here tonight?" stories?), change any lyrics Happy decides to change for the live version, and break the lyric lines down into logical snippets. It's not hard work, it's fun, (are you kidding, I get to watch Happy's videos several times) but it takes a bit of time. Btw, the radio interviews and Rhodeways web site are not dead, they're just set aside until after the holidays.
