"Wow, I thought that was really lovely, with a strong Jane Siberry influence. It seems like her work is pretty varied though. What's her story?" the story is varied - much can be gleaned from www.sophiemoleta.com www.myspace.com/sophiemoleta also her ectoguide entry and her wikipedia entry. Her main work has been piano/vocals though she had a hit with a 'euro-pop' dance song a few years ago, and has had laid-back (nearly jazz) tracks on a Swedish album two years ago, and an 'electronic ambient' album in the USA last year. The next album from New Zealand in early 2007 will have many strong piano/vocal tracks again. Other than the dance hit which appeared on about 30 compilations, her main commercially successful album was a French produced album "Dive" in 2000 - from which she still has a strong French fan base. She deserves wider listening - her vocals work magic in all genres. Bill in NZ _____________________________________________________________________________ _______ Do you Yahoo!? Definitely recommended Jeff Hanson n.p. Susie Suh n.r.
