I still recommend all their recorded output though there's not much Ecto about it. Another favorite from that period was Ultravox who, on their second album, "Ha! Ha! Ha!" had the song "Fear In The Western World" with the following lyrics (apologies in advance): Someone told me Jesus was the Devil's lover While we masturbated on a magazine cover Alrighty then... have a nice day. - --- Marcel Rijs wrote: > Hi all, > > Having mailed to Ecto from work for almost a decade > now, it's great to > actually have a work-related question this time for > all you music > lovers. > > I'm searching for songs with the word 'Magazine' in > it, preferably in > the title. Elysian Fields October, 26 2006 at The Stone Ave C at 2nd St., NY, NY 10003 Cost: $10 Jennifer Charles sings Ed Pastorini. Special World Premiere!!! Jennifer Charles (the velvet-throated poet behind Elysian Fields) teams up with underground genius Ed Pastorini (of 101 Crustaceans un-fame, incidentally Charles' favorite living song composer). Charles will sing many of her favorite Pastorini songs, accompanied by the man himself. Should be an unbelievable night of rusty lugers and velvet bullets. ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V12 #282 ***************************
