Tonight (FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 8) we get things rolling with "my" show, the Grassy Hill Song Circle. Hosted by me. Tickets available at the door. Tomorrow is the big day in Edgerton Park, at the corner of Cliff & Whitney on the New Haven/Hamden line. From noon to 4:00pm it's the "IKEA Family Folkapalooza" , a FREE show for kids and people of all ages, featuring a children's show with Robert Messore and Kim & Reggie Harris. Then a showcase of locally-based artists: Thomasina Last Fair Deal The Walkabout Clearwater Chorus Finally it's the main event: the Main Stage concert begins at 5:30 pm featuring a wonderfully eclectic lineup with much Canadian content: Tangled Up In Blue (Yale's folk chorus) Kim & Reggie Harris The Arrogant Worms Eliza Gilkyson Bruce Cockburn The weather forecast for tomorrow is perfect for a day and evening in the park, so if you can get here, come on down!
