Ecto post I was playing around on YouTube and just for s&g I typed in "Happy Rhodes" and look at what came up! Someone made a video using scenes from the movie The Phantom of the Opera using Happy's "In Hiding"! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VR2DnMcxEnI I didn't really care for the movie, though the sets, costumes, and cinematography were brilliant, and I adore Emmy Rossum, but, wow! Something unexpected. - -+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+ Music, all I hear is music, guaranteed to please... The venue was the only place to play the long almost-instrumental Joe Miller tune over and over ( I -am- thinking of something other than "Fly Like an Eagle"-?) bye, me KrW I'm Peter Pan! I have posted this to FTE, so I apologise if anyone out there is subbed to both lists and getting a repeat. This is kind of embarrassing, but here we go ... I want to make a girl I'm in love with a CD of songs, communicating the way I feel for her ... I've got some songs in mind, but I was curious as to your thoughts, fellow Ectophiles ... please share -- I would be most grateful! I am not looking for awfully mawkish or sentimental or obvious tunes ... but I know Ectophiles have great taste, hence my interest in what you might choose ... Thank you so much! Paul Kelly - "Won't You Come Around?" from _Ways and Means_ -- although most of the rest of that album would work too, it's the album he wrote for his new love. But that's the song on that album that makes me smile the most. - -- Nadyne Mielke nadyne@little-blue-world.org Little Blue World http://www.little-blue-world.org/ ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V12 #192 ***************************
