I'd heard that they'd had some problems with their name, and I suppose this is the rather complicated result. I mention this because if you like swooning, Scott Walker-y, late-night, after- hours, cigarette-and-whiskey-infused romanticism, this is the album for you. Definitely worth checking out. adam k. - ----------------------------------------------- This mail sent through http://webmail.zoom.co.uk ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 13 Jul 2006 06:11:33 -0600 From: Michael Stevens Subject: Re: Emily Bezar in London and Malta (fwd) Ectosynchronicity strikes again. Hi, all! I'm back after having only glanced at Ecto over the past few months (due to Net connectivity and email handler problems, now cleared up). I'm trying to hunt down the Brains' song "Heart in the Street", originally from their album "Electronic Eden". It doesn't seem to have ever come out on CD, and isn't showing up on eMusic or iTunes. Does anyone have a source for this? I'd love to cover it in a possible project, but I'm working from memories a decade stale. NR: Kevin Bartlett, "Near Life Experience" (which I got from eMusic last night in my monthly snarfage, along with albums by Violet Indiana, Miya Masaoka, Steve Roach, Popol Vuh, Boris, Jonathan Goldman, and Glenn Branca, and tracks by Michael Franti, Sinead O'Connor, Isaac Hayes, Klaatu, Vicki Lawrence, Billy Preston, Controlled Bleeding, and Nichelle Nichols, Yeah, same old stick-in-the-mud...) ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V12 #184 ***************************
