It looks like she's on her way again though, with some shows scheduled for March in L.A. and NY as well as an appearance at Austin's SxSW. Also a few new European dates follow as posted on anebrun.com. I'd definitely see them both again. She might appeal to those who like Imogen Heap, as the production on her recordings has that kind of feel. Her current live performances are pretty much just her on a piano without a lot of computer programmed accompaniment, though. I hear a bit of Emm Gryner in her slower material. Her album isn't available yet but there are four complete songs up on MySpace, and clips of some others on her website (Flash). She's playing a few U.S. dates. this month, including Folk Alliance in Austin (MPress showcase) and several in NYC with a residency at Caffe Vivaldi. Recommended if she's in your neighborhood! www.nlxmusic.com www.myspace.com/natashaalexandra Dan ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V12 #37 **************************
