[tedonastick Subject: Slaughterhouse 5 - Live on your Computer! Hi, folks- - - I've held off mentioning my little acting things here because they didn't seem relevant to the list. Now I've got one that some of you may be interested in; Happy probably would be too, so hopefully someone will pass it on to her. I work with a group called Actors Scene Unseen (www.actorssceneunseen.com) which does live radio plays for the internet. Next weekend, October 22nd and 23rd, we'll be doing Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse 5. I'm playing the narrator, who is basically Vonnegut, plus a few other small roles. We've got a really wonderful cast of seven, and tonite I got to hear some of the original music a local composer has done for us. Sweet! Our own soundtrack! This should be an excellent production, so if anyone is in the Charlotte, NC area and wants to drop in for the live performances, come on down! Everyone else can hear the show live by logging into the website. They run archived editions of earlier shows twice a day on weekdays, so you can hear a sample and make sure your computer is configured to pick up the streaming audio feed. I hope a few of you will have a chance to listen in, and that you like what we do. ASU is a small operation run by a husband/wife team, but the production values on this season's shows have been spiffy-keen.
