She rocked out on her guitar, and sang sweetly. I was a bit of a fan before last night, but now I'm a complete convert to her catchy/thoughtful tunes. - --- Do not stoop to strategies like this. ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Aug 2005 09:04:25 -0700 From: "London, Sherry" Subject: RE: ecto-digest V11 #230-SIA >>Anyhow. Do we know anything about her? Does she move in more commercial circles, kind of like Dido perhaps?>> It is good to see Sia's name some where. She also does some of the lead vocals for Zero 7, I am sure a lot of you have heard her there. Her first CD I had to get from Australia and could never quite get into it. Her second CD was not available in the US either but available at Amazon UK. Breathe Me, the song from 6FU is on the second CD. Maybe with the attention she is getting from this soundtrack, her CDs will be available. She is a favorite at KCRW and they have an achieved solo performance. sherry ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 25 Aug 2005 11:45:24 -0700 From: Paul Schreiber Subject: Sam Shaber house concert, Sunnyvale, CA Short Attention Span Version - ----------------------------------------- o Sam Shaber o Saturday, August 27 at 6:00 PM o Sunnyvale, California 94085 o RSVP for location/directions o Suggested contribution: $10 It is a special outdoor show, and I'd like to fill the backyard for Sam.
