They have been publishing live CDs of outstanding quality... has anyone heard these? It looks like there is a boxset in the works of all the Eur. tour dates. My wife bought us tix to the Hollywood Bowl show in Sept. for Father's Day, even though she has never heard of them. Now I am one lucky dad! For anyone on this list who has never seen them DO NOT miss the opportunity. What they do live is well beyond any of their studio albums. You have to be there. Thanks to Vickie a *long* time ago for convincing me of this fact and urging me to see them in Chicago in the early 90s when they played at the Vic. Easily one of the best live shows I have ever seen. I cannot BELIEVE they will be at the Hollywood Bowl - gawd! All the reserved seats are already gone. TURN UP THE VOLUME ECTO! - -mjm Tired of spam? Her debut album, The Overture & the Underscore, was recently released in the US, and it's quite good. Her voice reminds me of Fiona Apple's, particularly the vibrato. Also, Emiliana Torrini a bit. You could sort of think of the album as falling neatly between Emiliana's electronic debut album and her new acoustic one. Anyway, Sarah's music is richly textured, dark-ish, and uses electronic... stuff. File under ectronica and beautiful & fierce.
