I didn't know any of that. I almost did that for Happy before he renewed, but it cost money I didn't have at the time. > But if negative comments have been sent to the guy > regarding the domain, I would guess he'll sit on it > now just for spite. The only negative thing outside this mailing list today would have been my letter to his old address, and that got bounced back to me. I did NOT call him an asshole in the letter. That came from a streak of frustration this morning and I do apologise to the list. I didn't call himany names at all. I explained the situation and said I couldn't understand why he would renew when he wasn't using the domain. If he's going to keep it, why wasn't he using it?? I used to think it would be funny, if he and Happy had a little section about each other and links to each other's web sites. It still would be, if he'd work with her. They're so different it would be surreal and actually interesting. Vickie This is a signature. It's a friendly signature. But it doesn't like seeing SPAM next to its owner's name. Tired of spam? Try typing in http://www.happy-rhodes.com and see what happens. :) I've once again let my soul-crushing, spirit-sapping optimism get the better of me. *If* Happy's album causes any sort of sensation outside the confines of Ecto, and *if* a hoard of Happy-curious newbies go looking for her, and *if*, for some unknown reason, they try happy-rhodes.*, they'll get sent to the right place. It was cheap enough for the insurance. I don't know if I'd have bought them if there were no album on the horizon. I'm ever in the "You never know!" mode. She's cool with it, as long as we don't mention problems and technical glitches to her. She really doesn't want to hear about the time her voice cracked during "Space Oddity." (Yes, but one of them is dead-on perfect! That's what we live for, to hear that one perfect rendition.) Look for an announcement in the next few days. Vickie This is a signature.
