Veda's going to tour the West coast and the NYC area. Exciting news! - -J - ---------------------------- Original Message ---------------------------- Subject: RE: April Concert dates? From: "Veda Hille" Date: Wed, February 16, 2005 9:57 am To: jmgurley@drizzle.com - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- hey there james since site repair is taking longer than expected, it would be great if you could communicate with ecto and whoever else on my behalf. basically, here's the scoop. the new album Return of the Kildeer will be released april 23 in canada. we're still in negotiation with a uk label, so there is a possibility of worldwide release but i'm not holding my breath. that will have some of the songs you heard at the house concert on it, with full band and many guests, including a 12 piece orchestra on one tune, arranged by ford pier. there is a canadian tour in place april 23-may 13, vancouver to halifax. i don't have those dates on hand, but will send them on if the site doesn't shape up. no solid stateside dates yet, but i do have a us visa and am planning to tour the west coast and the ny area this year. there are also plans afoot for shows in wales, england, and germany in oct/nov. Kildeer is one of my biggest projects, and i am very very happy with it. the kids band that i am part of, called Duplex! is releasing our first album, called Ablum, on mint records may 3. this means canadian and us release, very exciting. duplex! will probably only be playing in vancouver for the time being, because of the children in the band and because our bass player is expecting another one. the album is great though, and i can hardly wait to have it out in the world. okeydoke! thanks for passing that along. cheers veda - ----Original Message Follows---- From: James Gurley <jmgurley@drizzle.com> To: Veda Hille <vhille@hotmail.com> Subject: RE: April Concert dates? Date: Mon, 7 Feb 2005 13:25:37 -0800 (PST) Hi Veda-- If you'd like I could forward to the ecto folks/list any dates you want to promote before you site starts to behave itself. What's the new cd called? Will any of the songs you played at the house concert or at The Croc be on the disc? What about the Duplex cd? Looking forward to April! - --J P.S. I enjoyed the new samples on that tour site.
