It's now available. I might be the first to download it, since it wasn't available the first couple of times I tried the link over a duration of an hour or so -- then it suddenly worked. Many thanks! I look forward to decompressing it and having a listen. - -- - -- | Greg Dunn | I really think it's better this | | gregdunn@indy.net | way; the more you suffer, the | | The Sultan of Slack(tm) | more you show you really care. | | http://www.indy.net/~gregdunn/ | The Offspring | ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Oct 2004 03:00:04 -0400 (EDT) From: Mike Matthews Subject: Today's your birthday, friend... i*i*i*i*i*i i*i*i*i*i*i *************** *****HAPPY********* **************BIRTHDAY********* *************************************************** *************************************************************************** ***************** Suzanne DeCory (belewgirl@hotmail.com) ****************** *************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- - -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Suzanne DeCory Tue October 22 1968 Balancing Libra Dave Steiner Sat October 24 1959 Scorpio Tara MacLean Thu October 25 1973 Scorpio Elin Sjoelie Fri October 25 1974 Scorpio Jessica Koeppel Wed October 29 1969 Scorpio Kathy Clark Sat November 01 1969 Bunnies Katie Dougiamas Sat November 02 1974 Scorpio Anthony Horan Fri November 04 1966 Positive Michael Sullivan Mon November 05 1962 Scorpio Anna Pryde Wed November 05 1975 Scorpio Sun; Sagittarius Moon; Pisces Rising Jens Brage Sun November 08 1964 Scorpio Rising Lynn Garrett Sat November 08 1958 Scorpio Sam Murgie Fri November 08 1957 Scorpio Rachel Kramer Bussel Mon November 10 1975 Scorpio Neb Rodgers Tue November 10 1959 Space Available - Inquire Within Ken Latta Sun November 11 1951 Scorpio Craig Gidney November 11 Scorpio Michael Doyle Wed November 12 1969 Scorpio Dave Cook Mon November 15 1971 Scorpio Jeff Pearce November 16 Orpheus Naama Avramzon Mon November 18 1974 Scorpio Jeff Smith Mon November 19 1962 Crash Kevin Bartlett Fri November 21 1952 Scorpio with Saturn and Pluto issues - -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Oct 2004 12:07:40 -0400 From: stumck@webtv.net (Stuart McKenney) Subject: patty griffin; suddenly, tammy! i got a digest reply (with perhaps more i haven't rec'd yet) plus an off-list reply to my red cross commercial song ID question along with some tips for using google with quotation marks to better effect and i appreciate it. the song was pete yorn's "on your side" and i sheepishly discovered that i already own the cd -- just haven't played it in a long time so i didn't recognize the song on TV at first. at least now i don't have to buy anything ;-) i've had cdr copies of patty griffin's silver bell and suddenly tammy's comet for quite some time (thanks to a couple of kind folks subscribed here). i've recently become more interested in obtaining the "real thing," because i like the durability of regular cds for long-term use and only have a handful of cdrs -- all representing items that are nearly impossible to find and horribly expensive to boot (e.g. beth orton's superpinkymandy for $400+ on ebay last week -- way out of my range to say the least). i am curious about patty's silver bell cd -- i have the full-length CDR (someone helped me by using MP3s as a source) and i own the silver bell promo ep on regular "pressed cd" which featured a couple of songs from it along with other selctions. i realize that silver bell was never made available to the public and was not officially released, but does anyone know of the most "genuine" form it appeared in -- was there ever a bonafide full-length, regular "pressed" silver cd cooked up for record company people to evaluate -- or was there a small CDR pressing with limited distribution? has anyone seen an "original" on ebay or elsewhere? what does it sell for? same situation with suddenly tammy's comet (another aborted release which never saw the light of day) -- i have a cdr with no artwork and am unsure of the source media -- i love this one and have heard of people finding promo copies in bargain bins -- but they usually describe them as CDRs with artwork -- was there ever a limited pressing of comet on "regular silver" CD? i've not seen this on on ebay or anywhere else. i'd appreciate any insight on the above -- also, this is undoubtedly a long shot, but if anyone here has "the real thing" for either and might consider selling at a price that would please you greatly, let me know what you're asking or provide me the opportunity to make you a generous offer: stumck@webtv.net thanks and take care, stuart ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Oct 2004 12:21:02 -0400 From: stumck@webtv.net (Stuart McKenney) Subject: Lloyd Cole "Missing" does anyone know which release lloyd cole's "missing" comes from? i have researched this but despite finding lyrics on the web, nowhere can i find a mention of where it appears -- i am fairly certain it's on a cd single somewhere. originally i thought it was a b-side for a promo single for "that boy," but can't confirm this. there were several versions of the "that boy" single, and all were either promos or officially withdrawn commercial releases that were available only for short periods -- i own a german one with three tracks and have seen a promo with "tie me down" as the sole b-side, but there were others with uncertain b-sides. lloyd's site (last time i checked) doesn't have a comprehensive discography, nor is it compatible with my browser, and i can't find a site i bookmarked years ago with a nice discography including singles & promos (it might be gone now). can anybody help me out here? it this is on cd, it's another i'd pay nicely for, so if you're looking to sell, please get in touch: stumck@webtv.net thanks, stuart ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Oct 2004 20:23:41 -0500 From: "forwardtcm" Subject: Re: Emily Bezar's ANGELS' ABACUS Does anyone else hear Kate Bush in her voice?
