Well Portland ectos missed out... Land of the Blind gave a GREAT concert at Michael Pearce's house Sunday night. Only 3 people showed up for the whole thing, not including Michael. People keep wondering why the Blind does not play Portland very often. With a turn out like that, it is not a big surprise. It was a great concert. Mostly new material from the new album. A couple of the old band members showed up to join in. It was a very cool evening. It would have been better with more people. - -- 'This message has not been made with the consent or cooperation of the Federal Board of Regulations (F.B.R.) or the Central Enquires Agency (C.E.A.). A venue I frequently go to is often sold out, we once had to turn away over 100 people for Vienna Teng (venue holds about 80), but at one show there was only one person in the audience... me. How tragic for the artist, I really wanted to hear a full show, but it made little sense for one person... she sang four songs to me, and thanked me profusely for showing up, then called it a night. - -- John ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 19 Oct 2004 21:48:38 -0400 From: Michael Curry Subject: Re: Emily Bezar's ANGELS' ABACUS At 05:34 PM 10/18/04 -0700, Sue Trowbridge wrote: >Just wanted to mention that if anyone was waiting for CDBaby to get >ANGELS' ABACUS in stock, it's there now and available for immediate >shipping! http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/ebezar4 >I just got my copy three days ago, and it's so marvelous to have brand >new Emily music again, for the first time in four years.
