This is at least a 10 hour flight and I like lots of music. The last time I took this flight, the Seoul airport was not allowing spare batteries in carry-on luggage. This means that you are limited to the life of the batteries in your music machine. If you are buying a machine for long airflights, you might want to keep this in mind. I don't know if any other airports ban batteries. Since all of us are music junkies, and always looking for a way to get our fix, I thought this might be of interest. I'm not wanting to spam the group here, but this seems very interesting, and looks to be legit, and easy. You can get a Free IPod for signing up and completing one of the offers, and getting 5 others to do the same. There is even a nice write-up in Wired about it: http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,64614-2,00.html?tw=wn_story_page_next1 If you want to sign-up, please do so through my link, so I get credit towards my free IPod!! Here is my link: http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=8949060 If this is considered against the list policies, I apologize, but I do think this looks like a good opportunity for us who have been wanting an IPod, but just didn't want to fork out the $$$. How can you say it is a scheme, when you can truly get a free IPod? Do some research and you will see. http://forevergeek.com/news/freeipodscom.php http://www.wired.com/news/mac/0,2125,64614-2,00.html?tw=wn_story_page_next1 It seems to me that this is a great, and easy way, to get an IPod. Especially good for us folks who have a tight budget. It's more like affiliate marketing. Call it what you will - pyramid scheme, ponzi scheme, social security system, whatever, the jist is the same. It depends on exponential growth - once that dries up, so does the gravy train. Simple rule of thumb: if everybody on the planet took part, would anybody be left holding the short stick? In this case, yep. In excess of 4 billion people, in fact. Only the most short sighted of ponzi schemes don't grease the pipes. The more people you can pay out, the more you can stick in the end. bob ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V10 #257 ***************************
