I don't remember any of that on the BBC, but then we saw it live. For the most part, they let the music roll. Every now and then they would cut back to Kelly Holmes again, but generally the performers just performed. And, of course, no commercials. and most importantly Dionisis > Savopoulos (the older guy > >with the beard) who revolutionized greek music by > being the first to fuse > >tradition with rock. It's amazing how different the NBC and the BBC broadcasts were. I think I saw an entirely different show. But then, I didn't realise there were so many heats for races until I watched the Olympics over here as opposed to in the US. A friend of my niece's was visiting us during part of the games; she's in her early twenties and didn't realise there were ANY heats or semi-finals until she watched with us.
