A-reserve tickets are $185 and B-reserve tickets are $165. in other words, horrendously out of the reach of a postgraduate student. disappointing ... she's sublime live. heidi. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 21 Aug 2004 14:54:40 -0700 (PDT) From: cyo@landoftheblind.com Subject: Re:happy birthday Alan, posting Kate Cover for ecto Michael and Alan thanks for talking me thru it all. I am such a NOT techno girl, it's amazing that I ended up making music technically, I guess when you really want to do something badly enough.... ALAN, Happy Birthday, wish I could be there for it today...Alas, far away. I am sending a special Birthday present for a dear fanriend and I hope you like it. It's 3 songs from my upcoming cd. They are completely and utterly ROUGHS, so don't judge, with just me, my creative loops and a little didg on one...but the levels are not there yet nor the other parts but I did so want you to have something NO ONE ELSE has....(the Kate cover Deeper Understanding, but I call it My Computer is on the cd, so you two, one of you, can post it please for ectos interest...somewhere on my site...beats me...but it's totally unmastered and the big giant lows (I was performing and recording it live...)tworked my little computer speakers...let me know if they are just too low to post... I will send the password privately but wanted to thank you BOTH publically for being my favorite fanriends for so long. I'm excited, Kadath (the cd, not the movie) is done, finished mastering Thursday night and I think it's really really interesting, can't think of a catagory for it (prog-ecto-sci-fi???)tee hee and the same company has me at work on another Lovecraft short (Innsmouth), plus I finished an SF student art film last week.(Leda and the swan story but switched to a man, well, it is SF ya know) So the soundtrack life is rolling. Both bands are going good, I may come up solo or duo in Oct for some Seattle-Tacoma gigs, will at least stop in Portland and play somewhere....(on the street?)and see you. love to you, cyo ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V10 #233 ***************************
