Are they really a legit operation? I get a lot of what-I've-been-considering-spam from them. I'm generally very leery of songwriting contests, coz in many cases a lot of rights to your music by entering. (I don't have any illusions about making money, but I sure don't want to be in a position where I could be enjoined from recording or even performing my own compositions.) So ISC gets a clean bill of health on that score? I haven't done any research; the sheer volume of mail I get from them made me write them off as skeeves. But I'm curious as to what sources you researched them by to conclude they were ok. I'm not challenging your judgement; just wondering what led you to it. ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V10 #218 ***************************
