Holly's LJ seems to concur: http://www.livejournal.com/users/hollypalmer the big news is, i'm out of there...! we reached a mutually happy deal and i signed the papers last week. i feel like a huge cloud has lifted. many good things have happened almost since the moment the deal was done. first off, i now own "i confess" and "tenderhooks". when i signed back to warners, i had put into the deal that if during the term for "i confess" they didn't put out "tenderhooks" that i would own it outright as well. so i am the proud owner of masters for both albums. Everything with Kristin Asbjxrnsen is a must. Her Dadafon side-project is amazing - actually I like it even better than Krxyt. They did release another album this year which I haven't got yet but their first and especially their second album Visitor is an album that should be in any collection. - -- Yngve ****************************************** * One alien has come, unalien to one ***** ****************************************** ***** Blessed be!!! ********************** ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Jul 2004 06:22:53 -0700 (PDT) From: anna maria "stjärnell" Subject: best of 2004 hi.. a best of..excluding pj as i've not heard it yet. There is just no pleasing some people, is there? Try to build a nuclear plant, they object. Try to build a wind farm - they still object. Personally I would happily cut off their supply of electricity... as a symbolic gesture. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 21 Jul 2004 17:42:26 -0400 From: fingerpuppets Subject: OT ~ M2OH and the Black Rider thought some of youse ectophiles might find this of interest... - ----- Forwarded message from stephen wilson ----- From: "stephen wilson" To: siblings@smoe.org Subject: OT ~ M2OH and the Black Rider Date: Wed, 21 Jul 2004 13:25:11 +0000 If any of you siblings are partial to the wonderful but elusive Mary Margaret O'Hara*, and plan to be in the SF area August-September: she will be appearing in 'The Black Rider', a play by Robert Wilson/Tom Waits/William Burroughs, (with Marianne Faithfull) in San Francisco starting mid August; there's a link about it here: http://act-sf.org/index.cfm?s_id=&pid=nev_pho_sea_045 *(another 'idiosyncratic' Canadian songbird - her album 'Miss America' is the best way into checking her out) - ----- End forwarded message ----- ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V10 #203 ***************************
