Their cd Sweetwater was released here in the US yest. and I attended their cd release party last night. The trio is made up of Caitlin Cary (formerly of Whiskeytown), Lynn Blakey (of Glory Fountain), and Tonya Lamm (of Hazeldine). You'll hear more from this group. They've already taped a show for NPR but I'm not sure when it will air, they didn't know last night when it would air either. I highly reccomend this disc and seeing them live if they come to your area. Not sure what they're touring situation will be. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 30 Jun 2004 13:17:39 EDT From: SpiritWe@aol.com Subject: **RACHAEL SAGE IN CA THIS WEEK & BEYOND!** SHALOM, SUGAR BABIES! Just a wee reminder: Rachael will be touring the S. California area w/ cellist Stephanie Winters for the *last* time before her next CD "Ballads & Burlesque" comes out, at which point our fickle glitter-grrl will be shoving aside her current repertoire in favor of 10 new neo-folksongs of seduction...So don't miss this last chance to hear "Public Record"! Word on the street is she will also be debuting pieces from her "S&M Faerie" fashion line. Seeya at a show! I mentioned this to someone at work and he said, "I just bought a new CD of that 2 years ago!" Needless to say I will be copping a copy from him. It was a re-issue just 2 years ago and now a used copy through Amazon is $82.50. The re-issue must not have been for more than several hundred, I guess. bye, KrW I'm Peter Pan!
