It's called susanmckeown-announce, and you can subscribe by visiting: http://smoe.org/cgi-bin/mj_wwwusr?user=&passw=&func=lists-long-full&extra=susanmckeown-announce Michael ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Jun 2004 17:23:06 +0000 From: "Lyle Howard" Subject: Anne Heaton Hi, I was mildly surprised to find an ecto-face on a Garageband Newsletter that popped into my e-mail. Anne Heaton is featured in the latest GB Newsletter. Here is an address for you: http://www.garageband.com/artist/anneheaton While I'm providing web addresses, here is a cute article from the Dallas Observer about teenagers and their view of music: http://www.dallasobserver.com/issues/2004-06-17/music.html/1/index.html While you are at the Observer, you might as well read about New Year. While I have not yet heard them, I have many of their cds from their earlier incarnation as Bedhead. Bye, Lyle n.r. V, Thomas Pynchon & Solaris, Stanislaw Lem n.p. Hombrew track that is starting to sound decent ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 22 Jun 2004 17:13:55 -0400 From: Joshua Burnett Subject: Free Jem song on iTunes I remember hearing Jem (the singer, not the cartoon) mentioned on Ecto a few weeks or so back, and today, I noticed that her song "They" was the free song of the week on iTunes. I haven't listened to it yet, but since she's been discussed here, I thought y'all would be interested in having a look... josh. ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 23 Jun 2004 00:15:31 -0500 From: kerrywhite@webtv.net (kerry white) Subject: OT: movie help Hi, once again one of us is using the rest as a database. 8-) I tried to get an old movie identified at a cult movie Use Group, but, anything more than 40 years old was totally beyond them. Here it is: from the 30's or 40's. Old house with secret treasure hidden inside. Part mystery part comedy. The one shining scene for my memory: it has been found out that the ship's clock over the mantle can use the pegs as tumblers in a safe. When you turn the clock in the correct fashion, a bell pops out of the ceiling and rings. You look up and then a trapdoor underneath opens and you fall into an underground river that runs under the house. The hero figures it out and steps back. The real treasure door then opens. The movie ends with the sidekick/comic relief yelling for help as he holds onto the clock while dangling over the trapdoor. Thanks for any help anyone can give. bye, KrW I'm Peter Pan! I'm perpetually young!! OW!! What's wrong with my back? ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V10 #173 ***************************
