I wanted to let you all know that I've been receiving all of your suggestions/condolences, and am grateful. I've done extensive research on this issue in the past 2 weeks, so we're pretty much up to speed on our options. (none of them are very promising unfortunately)But we are trying to look into whatever class action suits might be in the works. We'll also be writing some important letters. However, today I got an email from the Controller of CDStreet.com. He assured me that Happy's inventory is ready to go and that the cancellation of FED-EX's pickup was a misunderstanding. I gave Happy the phone number for the Controller. She spoke with him and they have cleared everything up. The inventory will be picked up tomorrow (we hope without a hitch). So the only issue we have with CDStreet at this point is the outstanding settlement. We'll keep on them to the best of our abilities. Thanks again for your input and we should all actively discourage any artists from using CDStreet.com in the future for their online CD distribution. I remember the years when Sacred Heart University's WSHU/WSUF network always pre-empted the last 10 minutes of (at least) the 2nd hour of _Morning Edition_ for local news and an essay read by its author. (NPR would call them "comments," WSHU a/k/a "The Classic" called them essays and assigned titles to them.) I'd sooner recommend Public Radio International's _Marketplace_ , since this is essentially a business story. Most NPR stations pick up this show, and the last 10 minutes aren'It as likely to get pre-empted by the likes of David Bouchier... Philip David 2004.06.02-03 - --- Yougasa Group - you want "essays"? What a performer and what a fantastic band - I'm still coming down. It was the last gig of her Australian tour. The interesting thing was she told the audience that she was last in Adelaide 8 years ago when she opened for The Chieftains!!! Wish I'd known THAT at the time!!
