One artist that Mitchell Froom has worked with recently is Mia Doi 
Todd. There was an album released about a year and a half ago that got 
some airplay on KCRW, and which I liked quite a bit. I'm not 
particularly fond of her earlier work, but I like what Froom did with 
her sound. You can get some sound samples at her web site  - 
http://www.miadoitodd.com Be warned if you're a Linux user; all the 
samples are in WMA or RealAudio format. And also turn off any pop-up 
blockers you've got running.
