Since it is sci-fi in nature I thought there might be one or two ectophiles out there that can pin it down for me before I go insane. There was a television show, I'm thinking from the late 70's/early-mid 80's that was either for kids or featured some kids as cast members. I'm pretty sure it was live action. There was a phrase that the kid/kids used that was the equivalent of "awesome" or "wow". The phrase was "Camelo Pardus!" I think. Either that or it was the name of the planet or space ship or whatever was involved in the show. Or maybe I just dreamed it during one of my senior moments. Ringing any bells with anyone? I may have some of the details wrong, but this is all my brain can scratch up. It's one of the minor constellations in the northern sky in between Cassiopeia and Auriga. I'm sure it probably derives from some Greek myth - maybe having to do with camels but that's just a shot in the dark....Always knew my knowledge of the constellations would come in handy some day ! - - Russ - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Sunday, May 23, 2004 11:36 AM Subject: Calling all geeks OT > Something popped into my head the other day, and it's driving me nuts. That would be Space Academy (http://www.70slivekidvid.com/spacea.htm). I don't know how it was written in the scripts but camelopardis is latin for giraffe; there is a constellation by that name (http://www.slivoski.com/astronomy/camel.htm). It sounds amazing, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a more high quality version. There isn't a Sin-e recording, is there? If so, they sure didn't release it on anything. joe joe and ellen music http://www.jotdot.net/joeandellen http://www.mp3.com/joeandellen ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V10 #145 ***************************
