Subject: Fiery Furnaces interview in today's Guardian Another band I have yet to catch up with are interviewed in today's Guardian, under the "Home Entertainment" section in which they talk about their music collection and influences. Interestingly, Eno's "Taking Tiger Mountain (By Strategy)" gets a mention. To digress: I understand this album has just been remastered on cd, along with all of Eno's early discs. Great stuff. Anyway: try this link http://www.guardian.co.uk/arts/homeentertainment/story/0,12830,1192487,00.ht ml Hopefully, it will take you there. Clicks and pops, in general, can't be easily removed. There are some things that can be done, but it's still apparent that something is missing. I'd recommend trying to find someone who could make copies of these songs on CD for you. It sounds like these are albums that are easily available on CD. This is, by far, the easiest solution. /nm ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 16 Apr 2004 21:10:01 +0200 (CEST) From: Yngve Hauge Subject: New CDs Hi, I'll review them when I have listened to them more but the cdbaby sale did result in a a few new CDs for me: Jessica Weiser - After Silence Soma - Black Rock City Star Bob and Wendy - Little Light Fearless Juan - Eponymous Girl Next Door - Remembering Analogue Lily - Running From the Sky The first couple of listen-throughs are very positive indeed. - -- Yngve n.p.
