I have a promo copy and I've been listening to it a lot. It's got Buddy Miller on some harmonies, as well as Mark Erelli and a bunch of other great players. I think the package design is the best yet of her CDs, looks beautiful. My favorite is track 4, Pour. Really cool drums... The drummer/percussionist is Lorne Entress, who also produced the album. I saw him play with Lori in New York last month and he was amazing. They both were (especially in light of the fact that she's very pregnant, again). I'm pretty sure you'll be able to order Bittertown from Signature Sounds site in the next few weeks, although the official release date is May. Doesn't say anything on the site abotu it yet though. But there is a lot of good stuf fon their site, and if you order from them soonish, you get a free Rani Arbo sampler. http://www.signaturesounds.com http://www.lorimckenna.com Jess >hi folks -- i got an email update today from fish records (excerpted >below) mentioning a new cd out in a month by lori mckenna -- checked out >some of the sound clips and it sounds great -- i have her other stuff >and have always enjoyed it: > ><Exceptional new album, and one of the strongest discs of the past few >years.
