I'm not sure if any/many of your are familiar with the Paste mag, but it is a bi-monthly magazine and CD, that features a lot of up and coming music and artist that fall more into the Adult Alternative/Singer-Songwriter/Folk nitch. You can check them out online at: http://www.pastemagazine.com/ The CD that comes with the magazine usually features 20+ tracks of GREAT music! This months CD has tracks from the new Abra Moore release, and upcoming Jonatha Brooke, and Lisa Loeb releases!!! The magazine itself has lots of good articles and reviews. I highly recommend it!! It is available from Maple Music, and I just ordered a copy. I wanted to get something else while I was there, but I couldn't actually think of any Canadian artists I really need to have at the moment. I did think of Veda Hille, but she wasn't listed. She is Canadian, isn't she? In the end I ordered Cowboy Junkies, "In the time before Llamas"... Now no doubt I will spend the next couple of days remembering all the other things I could've ordered. Oh well... Looking forward to Kirsty's "Souvenir".
