(the version from "The Keep)? It wouldn't not have been the first song to occur to me as a Happy opener, but it's what she chose herself to open most if not all her shows on this recent tour. Not is it only a good showcase for her voice, its sentiment is very indicative of the concerns she communicates through her music. And seeing her open with it, gave the song more power and resonance than I'd previously given it credit for. - --- Yngve Hauge wrote: > Hi, > > I'm gonna debut my radio show called All Things Ecto > on Tuesday, > and I've been having a bit of problem with what > Happy song to kick > it off with. Is this a broadcast thing, or an Internet stream? Hopefully I will be getting back on the air, myself. If my paperwork goes through, I'll be switching off with a friend who does the "Wild Woman Radio" show on the University of New Haven station on Sunday nights. Somehow I don't think it'll be difficult to adhere to the "female vocalists only" rule. ;) Sadly, WNHU doesn't have an Internet stream, but I will post my playlists online... I hope to start next week! I will post my playlists though - actually my next one is almost done and is quite interesting as I can think less of what people have heard before or not: 1. Vienna Teng - Gravity 2. Happy Rhodes - Tragedy 3. Weeping Tile - The High Way 4. Rachel Smith - The Clearing 5. Psychowelders - Secret Song (considering it. I will probably play it since it is rather hard to get hold on if none of you can find me a copy that is) 6. Brunatex - Frog 7. Noe Venable - Boots 8. Over the Rhine - Happy to Be So. 9. Frente! - What's Come Over Me 10. Tanya Donelly - Keeping You 11. Over the Rhine - Within Without 12. Mae Moore - Bohemia > Hopefully I will be getting back on the air, myself.
