Southwesterners, our loss is your gain. Do you know where in the Southwest she's moving to? I wonder if there's any chance she might play during the holiday time ... I'll be in Tucson for the latter part of December. =============================================== Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth =============================================== Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://muzak.smoe.org =============================================== ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 08 Oct 2003 22:46:12 -0700 From: cyo@landoftheblind.com Subject: Re: lovecraft premiere/cyoakha grace/live and soundtrack any Portland or Seattle or Eugene Ectos that love the dark and spooky side, please be invited to the INTERNATIONAL LOVECRAFT FILM FESTIVAL, this Friday thru Sunday in Portland, Or at the historic Hollywood Theatre. I will be coming up from San Francisco and performing live works from the soundtrack I recently finished, for DREAM QUEST OF THE UNKNOWN KADATH, at several times during the festival. It's the long awaited premiere of the animated Black and White 95 minute indie feature, drawings by comic book hero, Jason Thompon, plus my premiere of my first full length film soundtrack. I will have advance EPs of some the soundtrack music available, (full length CD to come later). I will not be performing Land of the BLind material, except for the two Blind songs that were in the movie. But Krystov, didgeridoo, and Akash, bass, dilruba and cello, both from Blind will be there helping me perform the music from the film. Per day tickets are only $10 and include many films each day as well as live music and a party Saturday night. If you want to know what kind of music it is, well, the director told me "nothing must sound like this world", and yet, the drawings are set in the 30s, so I couldn't cheat and go all 2001-sci-fi either. Odd, proggy, loop-based thickly layered dark music, with trancey dreamy vocals, think Kate goes to the Dark Side of the moon in the 30s. For more info go to http://www.hplfilmfestival.com/ thanks for your support, cyoakha grace PS Michael Pierce is a lead character's voice too! ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V9 #285 **************************
