The single hits radio stations on Sept 1 and the album (as yet untitled) will be released on November 4th. You can hear "Fallen" here: http://thesims.ea.com/us/getcool/supersarah.html I think it's beautiful... took me a few listens to get into it but I love it now. jessica - ----------------------------------------------------------------------------- jessica weiser :: singer/songwriter www.jessicaweiser.com ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Aug 2003 16:30:27 -0700 From: "John Zimmer" Subject: Re: Tori on Soundstage Meth wrote: > For some unknown reason, it was on Connecticut public tv at 5 am > this morning. Skip reading digests for a couple of days and see what I almost miss? Fortunately, the local rebroadcast is tonight at 1 am, at which time I'll be rolling fresh videotape. Yeah, it probably is time to look into one of those DVR thingies... Although her latest missive starts out sounding discouraged about even these endeavors (especially in light of her recent reference to the past year having been "miserable" ) she follows this with an intriguing message. As I can't seem to cut and paste e-mail I will rewrite her exact words. "Z has been improvising. I think my musical silence has come about in order to let him find his own musical voice. The music is not gone ; just waiting." I know I and many others are hopeful for what this portends. It may be that Ingrid could use a little encouragement I have to believe that she has many fans here who would like to hear new music from her. np: Okeh Western Swing (Don't be frightened by the title. This is great stuff. Really) ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Aug 2003 19:46:31 -0400 (EDT) From: breinheimer@webtv.net (bill) Subject: addendum Oops. My own letter of support just came back to me. It did not com back to me as returned mail but rather as if my letter had been sent to me by the intended recipient. Very strange. Maybe this is why Ingrid sounds as though she feels no one is listening. I will try to check into this by other means. ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 30 Aug 2003 20:29:28 -0700 From: Neile Graham Subject: Fwd: Two Loons for Tea National Tour! First, the Kendall Cafe, where scores of Ecto favorites have played, is up for sale. It sounds like the potential buyer has no interest in continuing the live music, so sometime in September or October, the Kendall will go dark. http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/241/living/He_says_goodbye_to_the_Kendall_Cafe+.shtml Also, the House of Blues is closing as of 9/15. Supposedly they are looking for a larger space and will hoepfully re-open: http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/242/living/House_of_Blues_in_Cambridge_to_close_begins_seeking_new_site+.shtml Quite a sad week for me. I've seen some amazing shows at the Kendall, including Jewel's residency back when it seemed that only Ecto knew who she was. - -j ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V9 #246 **************************
