If memory serves, she had "Living With Ghosts" and "Flaming Red" before "1000 Kisses". Those are the three official releases. Then there's "Silver Bell" which was supposed to come out after "Flaming Red" but never did; and the full-band sessions that were turned down for release in favor of the demos for "LWG". So, the two "unlreleased" albums. Neile, I received an e-mail from you with a file attached. I have opened neither, but the subject line read "Logan said, holding out his hand to her". I don't know if your addy was harvested by a virus, but since I wasn't expecting mail from you, I thought I'd mention it. I'm mentioning it on the list, because that is our connection, and I thought others might have received it. I would assume that most know not to open without verifying with you first, but I wanted to put it out there. If it was an intentional e-mail and is safe, please accept my apologies! Thanks...Lisa ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 25 Oct 2002 12:41:45 -0400 From: "Chavez, Bud" Subject: RE: Neile...e-mail? Some sent me a similar type message yesterday and I thought I'd send the same reply to the list, since there is a good chance this is similar. The only difference is that I did not know the person who contacted me so I knew I didn't send the message. But for folks who do get an unexpected message with an attachment and usually an "out of the blue" subject line should be careful. **************************************************** I suspect that the message you received was the klez virus, which will take a random address from the infected PC's address book, send itself (the virus) to that address, and indicate that the message was from another random address from the address book so that the infected computer will not be identified. It is good that you did not open the attachment, but if you are worried you might want to check out http://www.symantec.com/avcenter/index.html - Symantec AntiVirus Research Center and search on Klez. They have tools to remove it available for free there, as well as to check and remove other viruses. ****************************************************** Bud > -----Original Message----- > From: JavaHo@aol.com [mailto:JavaHo@aol.com] > Sent: Friday, October 25, 2002 12:11 PM > To: ecto@smoe.org > Subject: Neile...e-mail? > > > Neile, > > I received an e-mail from you with a file attached. My address has indeed been harvested by a virus that ate someone's email address book. I think it might be someone on ecto, judging by the bounces that have been coming back to me about messages I never sent and the messages I've been getting from ecto-related addresses. Luckily, I'm not on a PC and don't use Outlook Express and keep my virus programs up-to-date so I'm not passing it on. Anyway, I never send attachments unless I've told the person I sending it to, and usually then it's only the template for the Ectophiles' Guide, which is a word doc. So...if anyone else gets a message from me with an attachment, especially an .exe attachment, don't open it. - --Neile On Fri, 25 Oct 2002 JavaHo@aol.com wrote: > Neile, > > I received an e-mail from you with a file attached.
