I picked up Wilco's "Yankee Hotel Foxtrot" very recently, and have listened to it a couple of times -- it sounds great, very intriguing. There's the same sort of whistful, slightly fractured atmosphere that you get with Sparklehorse, although somewhat more coherent. It's one of those albums that, once it's over, I want to hear again, just to make sure I heard it right. I've read another article about the album (I think it was in Mojo magazine) and it sounds like it was a nightmare -- a clash between a record label and a man who didn't want ANYONE - including fellow band members -- to get in the way of his vision. It's an album definitely worth checking out. adam k. Get your own zoom email - click here - http://www.zoom.co.uk/ ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V8 #159 **************************
