One drunken night on the town with her and the boys was wild, she kept yelling at me "how's yer gash?" (a horrible expression she had not heard until the states and thought it quite funny) By the end of our time together, I thought it funny also so that after I returned to SF, then saw them touring to the Warfield in SF a week later, I showed up at the packed concert, wiggled my way to the front of the stage and held up a giant hand lettered sign saying "How's Yer Gash?"!!!She and the boys cracked up on stage and I spent another wild night with them (I'm Irish too, but the real folks can sure drink) in SF....what does that have to do with accordians? Beats me, accordians can lead to harder drugs? summer tour schedule soon, soundtrack done soon, azigza recording 2nd album, new Blind recording demo, finishing my own album, plus a summer special (5 songs about water) for the wendy rule and I tour called "WitchWater", love to you all, cyoakha O'Manion Music PO Box 198 Mill Valley, CA 94941 cyo@landoftheblind.com http://www.landoftheblind.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 26 May 2002 20:14:30 -0400 From: meredith Subject: Re: Project Lo cancellation Hi, Mark noted: >The "News" section of Happy's page says it's because Bon got tied up with >a new >Gongzilla tour. ... but that news is dated February 2002. The current Project Lo tour is presumably what was originally postponed back then. ============================================== Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org http://www.smoe.org/meth ============================================== Live At The House O'Muzak House Concert Series http://www.smoe.org/meth/muzak.html ============================================== ------------------------------ Date: 27 May 2002 15:27:46 +1000 From: andrew fries Subject: Re: mp3 stations On Thu, 2002-05-23 at 05:29, Datura Child wrote: > For the past month or so I've been working on three new mp3 stations. It *is* very Ecto-friendly, and along the already-known artists like Vienna Teng, Hannah Fury, Karnataka or Tapping The Vein I found some new stuff I'll need to investigate in more detail... The first one to get a look-in were Mira, a Projekt band if there ever was one :) Very reminiscent of LSD, Siddal and An April March, with lovely voice that I keep thinking I heard somewhere before, but from reading their bio it doesn't appear likely. Maybe it's just that they sound very much like those other bands... I don't think Mira had much publicity here on Ecto. But I suspect there are a few shoegazers lurking around who might quite enjoy this one. I know I did! Now I'll have to try the other two stations... PS - Apologies to Datura Child who received her own copy of this message. It was meant to go to the list, but I got caught in the reply-to trap :) - --------------------------------------------------------------------- "I'm out of bed and I'm dressed, what more do you want?" - spotted on a T-shirt - -- 2:20pm up 3 days, 14:03, 2 users, load average: 0.00, 0.00, 0.00-- ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V8 #147 **************************
