I > hope they show it here... Yes, as someone said, it's being retooled, and has been postponed, as well as the BUFFY animated series I understand. Though I do look forward to the FIREFLY show, I still wish JOSS would come back and refocus BUFFY.... > And I just have to comment on irvin's comment about the three arch-villains. > I have hated each and every one of their appearances and did not find them > amusing in the least. They would have been fine in a one-off appearance, > then caught, but I particularly disliked the recent dark turn involving them > and regret that we will have to see them again. How could you hate them! they are HILARIOUS! of course ever since SUPERSTAR, I have always loved JONATHAN. Oh well. That's funny though. I feel like the are the one saving grace this season, and they aren't using them enough... And I actually thought SEASON FOUR was pretty bad, but not as bad as this season... Irvin Ps. Hey does anyone have any of the ANGEL shows on tape, and can dub them for me? I keep on getting more and more curious about this season.... ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 11 Mar 2002 04:16:33 -0800 From: "The Ectophiles' Guide" Subject: Recent changes to the Ectophiles' Guide Latest changes to the Ectophiles' Guide 10 March 2002 Changes made to the entries for: * Mariel (new album) * Rasputina (new ep) * Wendy Rule (additional comments) * Mary Lydia Ryan (additional comments) * Sarina simoom (additional comments) - -------------------------------------------------------------------------- You are receiving this email because you have asked to be notified of updates to the Ectophiles' Guide to Good Music at http://www.smoe.org/ectoguide/. This is the live cut. I'm terrible with lyrics and titles, especially since I hardly listen to albums anymore in situations where/when I can peruse all the liner notes. Thanks, ~Chaps ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 11 Mar 2002 15:40:16 -0500 From: Mark Chapman Subject: Left Hand Demo's Question > The sixth cut is "Flash Me Up." Peter and Wendy is indeed amazing - both the versions with Lisa Moscatiello and with Susan. It was great to get to meet Meth & Woj & Michael Curry - even if I did bail out on dinner with them afterwards Prophecy is amazing and a delight to listen to. Particularly as a distant listener (Chicago is kinda midway between NYC and the Pacific Northwest :-) who hasn't to hear these songs live as frequently as I'd have liked, it's wonderful to finally be able to repeat listen. (and a really intriguing inlay booklet, too - I've been enjoying the photography behind the lyrics as much as the chance to read the lyrics) Prophecy now exists as a real CD, on the Sheila-na-gig label. It *will* be available for sale on Susan's website shortly via PayPal. No, Michael wasn't lying when he promised March 1st. But since the webdiva was in NYC this past weekend (overdosing on Peter and Wendy x 2 plus Mary Black) and just got back home on Monday nite, I'm kind of juggling concert-lag, day job and web site update to get the content out there in time. And hoping to avoid the flu which seems to be cropping up with a number of the folks I saw while out there ...
