I tuned in in the middle, so I don't know exactly who it was, but NPR interviewed someone from Firesign Theater about Mr. Milligan. I need to try to track down some Goons stuff. Peter and Wendy is indeed amazing - both the versions with Lisa Moscatiello and with Susan. It was great to get to meet Meth & Woj & Michael Curry - even if I did bail out on dinner with them afterwards Prophecy is amazing and a delight to listen to. Particularly as a distant listener (Chicago is kinda midway between NYC and the Pacific Northwest :-) who hasn't to hear these songs live as frequently as I'd have liked, it's wonderful to finally be able to repeat listen. (and a really intriguing inlay booklet, too - I've been enjoying the photography behind the lyrics as much as the chance to read the lyrics) Prophecy now exists as a real CD, on the Sheila-na-gig label. It *will* be available for sale on Susan's website shortly via PayPal. No, Michael wasn't lying when he promised March 1st. But since the webdiva was in NYC this past weekend (overdosing on Peter and Wendy x 2 plus Mary Black) and just got back home on Monday nite, I'm kind of juggling concert-lag, day job and web site update to get the content out there in time. And hoping to avoid the flu which seems to be cropping up with a number of the folks I saw while out there ...
