They are only selling it through their site in England and didn't email me back when I asked the best way to get it here. They also have a CD-EP out in France. Their site is http://www.pookaonthe.net/ Anyone know where I can find some of this elusive stuff? And speaking of great girl duos, Supernova also has a new CD out http://hjem.get2net.dk/Supernova/MainFrame.html which hopefully will come out (at least in denmark) in May. They've got some Mp3 samples up though :) The art is really cool too! From what I understand of the message, the worm hit someone else's system, picked out your address and that of the recipient (I forget who originally posted about this) from that third person's address book, and forged your address as sender. The other headers, though, showed that the message did *not* come from your system. Copperman Subject: Jen Terran in Holland/Belgium I know there are a few people out there who might be interested in this. Jen is a pretty intriguing performer based on her CD. I haven't seen her live yet, but we are hosting her for a house concert in June, so we'll certainly have better insight then! Check out her web page for details: www.jenniferterran.com I just got back from Folk Alliance (literally about 2 hours ago) and am pretty zonked. I got about 15 hours of sleep since Wednesday, and three of those were on the flight home today. Should have some interesting finds to pass on once I can think a bit more clearly neal np: orchestrate the jubilee - nancy lynn bright THE EUROPEAN MAD MAGDALINE TOUR with Strange & Wonderful Happenings February 22 - March 10 2002 Holland & Belgium Featuring: JENNIFER TERRAN (on piano, on voice, on drum, on walky talkies, on crappy walkman & on just about anything that decides to be an instrument) & BRENDAN STATOM (on double bass) 2/22: De Ridderhof, Holland 2/23: Noordwijk, Holland 2/23: Leidan, Holland 2/23: Ridderkerk, Holland 2/26: Gemert, Holland 2/27: 'S-Hertogenbosch, Holland 3/02: National Radio, Holland 3/03: Alphen aan den rijn, Holland 3/04: Den Haag, Holland 3/06: Amsterdam, Holland 3/07: Bergen op Zoom, Holland 3/08: Roosendaal, Holland 3/09: Venlo, Holland 3/09: Brugge, Belgium 3/10: Amsterdam, Holland ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Feb 2002 19:45:44 -0800 From: Steve VanDevender Subject: Fwd: Non-delivery report Neile Graham writes: > The plot thickens--I didn't send this message, though > awphili@hacktic.nl is a former subscriber to ecto. I don't think I've sent him a message in > years, and as a Mac user I know nothing about Windows viruses So far the common pattern is that the messages come from 24-127-100-164.we.client2.attbi.com [24.127.100.164] and are relayed through a mail.ru system with a mail.ru envelope sender address. I'm going to start reporting these to abuse@attbi.com. The IP address of the sender doesn't previously appear in my saved Ecto messages (probably not surprising since attbi.com only came to prominence when they absorbed @Home). I only know about Windows viruses by secondhand experience myself, having had to deal with a few outbreaks involving mail servers I run. This one looks like one that has been going around for a while, although I don't know the specific name. ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 24 Feb 2002 23:04:16 -0500 From: meredith Subject: Re: Fwd: Non-delivery report Hi, SteveV noted: >So far the common pattern is that the messages come from >24-127-100-164.we.client2.attbi.com [24.127.100.164] and are relayed >through a mail.ru system with a mail.ru envelope sender address. > >I'm going to start reporting these to abuse@attbi.com. The IP address >of the sender doesn't previously appear in my saved Ecto messages >(probably not surprising since attbi.com only came to prominence when >they absorbed @Home). I believe I've gotten this a few times in the past couple days as well. I ran the latest one through the parser at spamcop.net, and it appears abuse@attbi.net is indeed the right place to send the report. >I only know about Windows viruses by secondhand experience myself, >having had to deal with a few outbreaks involving mail servers I run. >This one looks like one that has been going around for a while, although >I don't know the specific name. Based on what I've gotten, it's called W32Klez.E.MM, and all the details on it are at http://vil.nai.com/vil/content/v_99367.htm. Death to Micro$oft Outlook.
