The show starts at 8 PM and the opener is Carla Ryder. To make reservations in advance or get directions you can call 603-437-6085. Light refreshments are included in the ticket price of $15. Directions and more information at http://www.musegraygoose.com/ Below is a message from Merrie: Hi everyone - In case you're wondering.... I'm working/recording two albums -- one of cover songs and another of my own writing. I didn't intentionally set out to work on two albums simulaneously, but as I've been recording the covers album, new songs have been coming to me, so I'm recording those as well. "Clementine" is one of the songs from the covers album -- if you've come out to a live show you've probably heard me play it. While I'm recording, I'll be doing some New England shows this spring, and a brief midwest tour in July. I hope to release the covers album in the late summer, and the second CD this coming spring. I know that seems far away but there's all sorts of set up stuff one must do for an album and that's about how much time it takes. My crazy parrot will probably make another uninvited appearance on both of these albums. Not so sure about the washing machine... The Kendall Cafe is putting out a live compilation CD, which will feature a live version of "State Highway 16" -- not sure when it's coming out, but you can check thekendall.com if you are interested. The proceeds benefit The Cam Neely Cancer Foundation (for kids w/cancer). There are lots of other people on this record -- I'm uninformed and am uncertain who they are! Thanks to everyone for their support. ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2002 13:54:47 -0800 From: Neile Graham Subject: Fwd: Dana at Club Passim, Cambridge MA For those interested. - --Neile >Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2002 09:45:43 -0800 (PST) >From: Dana Kletter >Subject: Dana at Club Passim >To: dkletter@aol.com > >Dana Kletter at Club Passim, Cambridge, MA >8:00 pm, Wednesday February 27th w/ Kellie Lin Knott > >There will also be a simultaneous live broadcast of the show on an >internet station - RadioBoston.com, Channel 5 > >"It's very modern, and I suppose very clever," she observed. >"Of course it's clever...all her sayings are clever, and luckily >they bear repeating." >"Are you sure it's one of her sayings?" >"My dear, I've heard her say it dozens of times." > > - -- - ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neile Graham ...... http://www.sff.net/people/neile ....... neile@sff.net Les Semaines: A Weekly Journal . http://www.sff.net/people/neile/semaines The Ectophiles' Guide to Good Music ............ http://www.ectoguide.org ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 22 Feb 2002 18:58:10 -0500 From: Michael Curry Subject: Sleater-Kinney news For those interested, I spotted this over on wordsandguitar, the S-K list... > Date: Thu, 21 Feb 2002 14:38:33 EST > From: jbutter24@aol.com >Subject: SK shows > >Sleater-Kinney >live in concert! >Saturday, March 9 Bellingham, WA WWU >Sunday, March 10 Olympia, WA Capitol Theater >Saturday, March 16 All Tomorrow's Parties/ LA UCLA > >The band will then head into the studio to record.
