I may have mentioned before that I had discovered a "Stealthbucks' in San Francisco; a funky little south of Market place with mismatched furniture and junk-store decor. they had a sign saying they 'proudly served' SB coffees. When pressed for more details, the store clerk admitted that this WAS a Starbucks, but as it was in an area whose patrons typically shunned Big Coffee, they had created a new, 'alternative' style of coffeeshop called Cicadas. This is very sneaky, as many folk going there will think they are patronizing their local businesses. In checking, I find out that Cicadas does not ( is not allowed to) bring in musicians, poets, etc, nor are they active in any form of local community work, unlike most of the 'real' coffee houses in the Bay Area. I have since seen more of these, all with the same low-rent decor and that weird hot brown stuff they tell me is coffee. She probably just wants to put in a good word for you with God :) By all means let me know too, for mailing purposes, but I don't have her high-level connections, so you're on your own with the Almighty.
