"tree, so still and will you change, like me... tree, and can i see what you see... sky so high and will you sigh, like me..... sky, and will you cry with me.... sadness is strong and tonight i will run to you coyote was wrong and tonight i will fly to you... vine, will you unwind like me vine, will you find my destiny, for me light will you warm my bedside tonight ...are you sure this is white light sadness is strong and tonight i will fly...." i also like her verson of hiney ma tov, the hebrew prayer.... well i like a lot of the cd. i'd be interested if anyone else has thoughts on this cd. most of my friends are more into folky stuff so i cant find anyone to share my enjoyment of this one. cos - did you ever get this cd?? jess ps you could find a picture of jenna on the web if you wanted, but maybe its one of those times when its better not to have a clear picture.... "i dont want to be the one inside you i dont want to even have the option i dont want to be anyone's teacher i dont want to even think about you only love, only peace, only love bring it to me" --- sarina simoom >Date: Tue, 10 Jul 2001 16:22:46 +1000 >From: Andrew Fries >Subject: sarina simoom (and mercy bell?) > >It's been a while since I posted but I'm still here - just had nothing to >say. Erin Mckeown, Mohatella Queens, Mary Black, Irene Farrera are some of the acts on the lineup. I'll be working the show, and will be there from wednesday onwards, so it would be nice to hook up with any Ectophiles attending. Irene Farrera??!! Yowser, that alone would make it worth the trip. I wasn't even aware of this festival; Phil, may you point me/us to some info on it? Thanks. - - Bill G. np: Neneh Cherry - Homebrew ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 12 Jul 2001 00:17:39 -0400 From: meredith Subject: ectofest update Hi, Just popping in with a quick ectofest update. We are pleased to announce an addition to the bill: MOLLY ZENOBIA She's gotten some buzz here of late, and with good reason. It looks like she's going to be bringing her band too, which is going to be even cooler. A great big public THANK YOU to everyone who stepped up to the plate to be a sponsor. With our major sponsor Grassy Hill Concerts and all the individual ectophiles who came forward, we've raised over $2000 for our operating expenses so far. This is so far above and beyond what we'd even dared hope, I can't even say. But, since our greed knows no bounds , if anyone else would like to be a sponsor please contact me. We've committed to RAINN that we will raise at least $2500 (though our personal goal is at least $5000), and we've got a very, very good shot at that, thanks to everyone who has helped start us out in the black. Stay tuned for updates on advance ticketing. I'll be setting that up soon. If anyone needs assistance with travel planning (because trust me, you do NOT want to miss this), just e-me. ======================================= Meredith Tarr New Haven, CT USA mailto:meth@smoe.org ======================================= ectofest 2001: August 25, 2001 A benefit for RAINN Kenosia Lake Park, Danbury, CT http://www.ectofest.org ------------------------------ End of ecto-digest V7 #194 **************************
