I think of them as a pretty small band, but they were travelling in a huge bus. The core duo was augmented by 3 extra musicians, and they were traveling with 4 tech people. They played for about 70 people (at $9 a pop) in Santa Fe. How do they afford this? They seem to have a whole organization back home too. People answer the phone when you call to order discs. People who aren't the band set up the tours. Aren't they a pretty small band? Anyone have any idea how this works? neal np: Kids tape I'm working on ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Apr 2001 03:00:05 -0400 (EDT) From: Mike Matthews Subject: Today's your birthday, friend... i*i*i*i*i*i i*i*i*i*i*i *************** *****HAPPY********* **************BIRTHDAY********* *************************************************** *************************************************************************** ***************** Jeff Hanson (jjhanson@worldnet.att.net) ***************** *************************************************************************** -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- - -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Jeff Hanson Sat April 16 1966 Aries Michael Klouda Mon April 17 1967 Aries Harry Foster Sat April 21 1956 NiceGuy Kjetil Torgrim Homme Thu April 23 1970 Taurus Jeff Burka Thu April 24 1969 GoFlyAKite Christine Waite Tue April 25 1972 Taurus Matt Adams Thu April 26 1962 Taurus Brad Hutchinson Tue April 28 1964 What sign? A number of ecto-ish women (and ones that ought to be) are performing including Edie Carey, Sam Shaber, Anne Heaton, and Deborah Pardes. I think they are all getting maybe 2-3 songs, so it should be quite the fast paced sampling kinda event. Hopefully some brave soul will attend and give a report for those of us on the left coast where something like this would never happen. - -troy- ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Apr 2001 09:47:51 -0700 From: "Shelly DeForte" Subject: RE: Boa They released their first CDs on a Japanese label, and their > song "Duvet" is used in a Japanese Anime series That would be 'Lain', (imho) one of the most beautiful series/stories/animations ever (and available on dvd for those who are curious). Kitty Kat, my apologies for mis-crediting your splendid limerick. Please offline me with a mailing address for fabulous prizes. Congratulations to the prize-winners.
