I should NOT compare Louisa with Loreena (they aren't really that much alike) and I shouldn't complain about not having much in the way of liner notes with a CD. It's just that what there was (in the liner notes) didn't communicate much of anything, and I hate quotes by Emily Dickinson. I did go back to Ms. John-Krol's site on your recommendation and read what she had to say about Alexandria. Seeing as she was willing to say it, wouldn't it have been nice to read it more readily? But I see your point. As far as comparisons go, it helps to compare a musician to others, though if I see more singers compared to Kate Bush (for example) where there is no comparison, I'll probably call down the Furies. Hello kind ectophiles, Kate Bush is my favorite singer (and possibly yours as well). I want to talk about Kate, but I don't think I want to join the Lovehounds mailing list or try to talk about Kate at length here, so I've created a Kate Bush discussion club on Lycos: http://clubs.lycos.com/live/Directory/CommunityHome.asp?CG=sbe56me40bah343o0188mmkcvg I don't have any members yet, so please consider joining! I promise this is the only time I will bring it up on the Ecto mailing list. Suzanna Who needs Cupid? Matchmaker.com is the place to meet somebody. She has released several Albums in the past , including "Smells Like Truth" in 1991 and "Songs From The Nineline" in 1996. "Songs From The Nineline" made my top album list in 1996 and I seem to recall it appearing on a few other ECTO top list for that year. She also has several CDRs available for special orders, which reflect Her continuing musical creativity. Laurie has supplied me with a good number of "Songs From The Nineline" CDs to give away to anybody that would like one. Just send me an e-mail with Freelove as the subject and I will ship them free of charge while the supply last. If you already have this CD and know someone who would appreciate a copy pass one along to them, or send me their address and I'll see that they get one.
