I dunno, you think we let just anybody be on the birthday list? There is a big initiation ceremony that you have to go through, involving vegetable sacrifices during the new moon and things like that. Though sometimes you can get away with just sending e-mail to Mike Mathews (mathewm@smoe.org) with the relevant information. But be warned, once placed on the birthday list, it appears that you will never be removed! Are you sure you are ready for a lifetime commitment like that? neal np: nothing! Actually, matthewm@smoe.org is an alias to mike@matthews.net, which is in turn an alias to mikesafh@aol.com. But who's paying attention anyway. (I'm hoping that MichaelMatthews@worldnet.att.net isn't still in that loop somewhere; that account should have been removed almost a year ago but my previous employer still has it active for some unfathomable reason.) The info I need is the month and day of your birthday. If you give the year, the script figures out which day of the week you were born on. If you don't give your custom "sign," the script will give you the Zodiac one (Taurus, etc.). > But be warned, once > placed on the birthday list, it appears that you will never be removed! Well...... if, on one of the rare times I do a sanity check on the list, your email address bounces, I remove the email address. If it bounces again, I comment the entry out. So you're never *removed* from the list, but eventually it may stop displaying it... > neal Mike ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 02 Jan 2000 23:11:43 -0500 From: Bill Adler Subject: Mary Fahl's solo album I just heard that Mary Fahl of October Project has a solo album coming out from Managra Music (http://managramusic.com). That's all I know.
