RR - --------------------------------------------------------------------------- - ------------------- Hey everyone...the news below comes from the band's manager Jeremy Morrison...the name change is really not a big surprise, but the added news of an imminent demo CD is. :-) Also at the bottom of the note is the date for yet another Mary Fahl New York City show.I hope you're all having a great weekend... Be Well...Alan .....To avoid future fan confusion and other possible legal hassles down the road, October Project 2 has officially morphed into November Project, all the band member details stay the same. The Tin Angel and Towne Crier shows will remain as OP2. We will have an official website up in the next few weeks under: http://www.novemberproject.com. We are also working on releasing an interim recording of five tracks which will hopefully be available on CD by the Tin Angel shows and through the website just to give fans a taste of what's to come. Well, the guy I emailed obviously lied to me then. I told him every list I was on, so he could see if any of them were on his list, and I listed Ecto as one of them, and he told me, nope, none of the lists I gave him were on there. :/ I mean, it's a few emails here and there, granted, but it's the principal behind it, more than anything else. You know what? I actually think that Deep Rising, that ever so forgetable B-Grade horror film from last year with Treat Williams and Famke Janssen, was better than Deep Blue Sea. At least it was more fun. Although I still can't quite stomach the gore. DBS seemed to be pretty promising what with the first trailer that featured the soothing strains of Amazing Grace sung by some Irish lilted siryn and the second trailer that just kicked butt...Renny Harlin's had his ups (Die Hard 2, The Long Kiss goodnight) and his downs (Cutthroat Island, Cliffhanger), but this just didn't deliver. Let's see how many different ways we can have sharks surprise people by coming out of nowhere and chomping, chewing, mauling, smashing, flinging, and eating them. Oh damn, we don't have the technology to make it look realistic. Oh well. And let's not develop the characters enough to have anyone you really want to root for. This is my dad's review of the movie (he saw it a couple weeks ago with my mom) : Sharks eat scientists. It was very horrible. at least the previews for Fight Club and Three Kings looked interesting.
